Held Sunday, October 8th, 2017 Mary reviewed the "why" of Wild Women Society (in case you missed it, the answer is: the Divine Feminine, the magic of women supporting each other, love, relationships, and connecting: self-care!).
Goody Boxes, Yummy food, bubbly, Wild-tinis, and loads of Raffle items made for another fabulous gathering of Wild Women!
Guest Speaker/Guest Artist Jolie Goodson:
I believe we are all connected, and I feel that strongly when I see people across the globe with the same entrepreneurial fire that I have. Travel is what makes me tick. I started seeing the world with my family at a young age. The urge to see and feel the entire world has always been the driving force in my life, it’s how I make most decisions. I feel such a connection to these people, moving through the world in the same way I do, creating art and trying to build an awesome life. I have been able to stay true to myself and build the life of my dreams in the same way that many others are trying to do. I am lucky and grateful to have the family, friends, and resources to build a life I freakin love. Jolie has worked with students of RISE (Refugee and Immigrant Student Empowerment) on a photovoice project where students share their experiences through photography. Since many of them are not native english speakers, using photos was a powerful way for them to speak. |

Guest Musician Ashley Kervabon is ripping up the Portland (andNYC, and Nashville, and Vancouver BC) music scene showcasing amazing local women musicians with #WomenCrush. Check it out at Jade Lounge here in Portland, the third Wednesday of the month (9/27). Ashley is a singer-songwriter, and much more. She is paving the way for female musicians providing coaching, venues, and opportunities In a (previously!) male-dominated and competitive industry. And that's not all she does...you should come meet her and find out more!
