Held Sunday, February 5th, 2017 Mary talked about the "why" of Wild Women Society (in case you missed it, the answer is: Women waking up, Common Ground, love, relationships, and connecting, self-care!). The sweet and soothing art of Mary Suzanne Garvey as a backdrop, and Emily Aldridge brought original compositions and rocking covers! Then Barb Beck brought it all together with Love! Goody Bags, Yummy food, bubbly, Wild-tinis, and loads of Raffle items made for another fabulous gathering of Wild Women!

Singer songwriter Emily Aldridge is a new-in-town musician and feeling gleefully inspired by the beautiful surroundings, including the people. After moving to the area from Jacksonville, FL in 2015, Emily took to the local music scene with her solo acoustic tunes and continued in her role as front woman of progressive metal band, Sacrifice to Survive. She and her boyfriend Matt live in Vancouver, WA with their furry children, "Roxy", a golden retriever chow and "Callisto", a Maine Coon. They write music together as Matt is a guitarist and composer. Emily's music is heavily influenced by folk and blues with elements of rock, and her lyrics are infused with the positivity she so wishes to bring to the world around her.

Guest Artist Mary Suzanne Garvey: Welcome to my beautiful mess! I am an artist, healer and professional muse on the loose. I have been involved in the healing arts as an artist, massage therapist, craniosacral therapist, yoga instructor, meditation guide and art journal workshop facilitator for over twenty years. I believe in the healing power of the creative process and have devoted the past decade to painting and writing so I can safely say I know first hand the transformational effect creativity can offer the body and soul. Because art making  has had such a personal and profoundly positive effect on my life I have a passion for sharing it with others. That is why I offer regular Art Journal workshops and private painting sessions as well as Wellness and creativity Coaching. Currently my artwork can be found in Portland, Oregon in the form of paintings, hand painted moleskin journals and greeting cards at Elephant's Deli, Cargo, Cornell Farm, Hunt and Gather, Cielo Home Furnishings and Oblation in Portland and The Natural Nook, Jovi, Wisteria Chic and Salt and Paper at the Oregon coast
